What is GOTS cotton? The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, backed by independent certifications of the entire textile supply chain. The aim of the standard is to define requirements to ensure organic status of textiles; from the harvesting of raw materials, environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing, through labeling that provides a credible assurance to the end consumer. When you choose GOTS organic products, you choose to support the protection of health, safety and rights of all employees involved in production. GOTS evaluates the processing and manufacturing of textiles on the basis of both, environmental and social criteria. This means assessing everything from the chemical inputs being used to the ethical treatment of workers. To become GOTS certified, it is mandatory to meet all of the criteria.

What is Supima Cotton?Supima Cotton is one of the highest quality cottons available and makes up less than 1% of the cotton grown in the world! This American grown cotton is unique because of its extra-long staple fibers, which make the cotton incredibly soft and durable. Supima farmers ensure that they are growing the best quality cotton in the world with as little impact on the environment as possible, with growth and harvest processes thought out and practiced to the smallest detail.

How is your clothing "eco-friendly?"It's true, we only sell garments that are produced with our planet's health in mind. We source our garments from an American company who doesn't just throw the "green" buzz words around. They go the distance by achieving highly respected third party certifications and licenses such as GOTS, which analyzes their entire supply chain and ensures its environmental and social responsibility. Our apparel is also OKEO-TEX globally certified, which means every component of each garment, from the coating on the zippers to the dye used to color the clothing, has been tested for harmful substances and declared completely safe. No part of the garment is harmful to human or environmental health. Unfortunately, many of the garments that are produced in the fast fashion clothing market today use residual dyes, hazardous chemicals, heavy metals, microfibers, and mordants to help bond dyes with fabric. Although many countries have banned such substances, there are still parts of the world that use these in production to support the high demand of fast fashion. Many countries can't access clean drinking or bathing water because of the contamination caused by these harmful dyes. Our clothing has been meticulously produced and tested to ensure that it is 100% non-toxic. It's clothing you can feel good about buying, and great about wearing.
